The Sam back from the dead after upset.

Brett Thompson was gleaming from chin to receding hair line after his Man of the Match performance in last weekend's quarter final. Bretts rise to form has been long coming, and will probably be short - lived, but he deserves his time in the sun (as long as he puts some lotion on that bald patch).

Starting along with The Sam and Chad, Brett brought in two of his cool friends (like Geoff's cool friends, but cooler) and proceeded to order the team.

Leading from the back, Brett put as many balls through to his forwards as Chad replies to texts from The sam members. Brett was stubborn in his approach and stuck to his game plan. Every time his high balls were penalised, yet he never gave up trying. After The Sam were down 2-0, Chad got a lucky goal and random guy equalised just before the final whistle.

Chad placed his penalty shot. Brett, the man, went against his better judgement and decided not to sky the ball. It went in. And so did The Sam's shot.

Brett is the Man.
