With The Sam's imminent return from a half year-long scouting trip in Europe, the rumour mill is going crazy with speculation The Sam FC may reform. Almost a year since the last goal was conceded in the Boyd Wilson Shed, we investigate what The Sam FC team have been doing since.

A train is now a married man, Trone is in Palmy, A H Lee is in HB, Loic is in UK, Bret is now a high roller, Geoffers is in Ch, Klee is in Pram, Seung is in South Korea while Bum Joon is now home in North Korea.

Which leaves us with Chad. Chad has been somewhat difficult to get hold of but some eagle-eyed The Sam FC fans have tracked him down. Chad has taken the indefinite leave from The Sam FC as an opportunity become an eating advisor. Blackburn Kean on The

Blackburn owners Venkys have been seen talking to The Sam manager The Sam, fueling rumours that they are ready to replace current Blackburn manager Steve Kean.

The Sam was seen talking to the Indian twins at Ewood Park where Steve Keans side fell 2-1 to Bolton, in a battle of the basement dwellers. Whether discussions focussed on football or chicken is unclear but the trio appeared comfortable as they ate the free mince pies on offer.

Under-fire Kean has won just seven games since his inception as Blackburn manager a year ago and is proving to be unpopular with Rovers fans.

The Sam on the other hand has had a fantastic year guiding The Sam FC to a credible lower-mid table finish in the Vic Indoor League. Mr Sam is currently in Europe on a scouting trip and was also recently seen at the Newcastle-Swansea game.

The Sam is not the only The Sam FC member being courted by a Premier League club with star striker Ricky Van Wolfswinkel also catching the eye of Manchester United.

Police on the prowl for ex The Sam FC reserve player D (U) Dave

Dangerous (Unfit) Dave, the former reserve star was believed to be hiding in A train's former Rolleston Street residence. Police did not give specific details but dropped the ball when stating "the person was considered dangerous".

It is not known what the reason for the search warrant was but there had been anonymous reports of some bum jooning with D Dave reported to have been in the area at the time.

D Dave, enjoyed a short stint with The Sam FC in 2007-8 both in the Pro Evo master league D1 cup and in real life Everton The Sam reserve night games. He gained a cult following with The Sam supporters due to his trademark dangerous mentality on the pitch and general lack of fitness.

Composite thought they beat us 6-1 but the officially lost 3-0. The Sam responded: "haha... cry"

The win was bittersweet for The Sam FC as they closed off typically underwhelming season with a exhibition game mauling.

It may have been the last season played by the full The Sam team and what better way to end it all with a win by default and a hiding all in one.

The game was marred by the absence of the ever-present composite star "15 year old" who's mum couldn't get him to the game on time. This caused the composite team to be short by 4 players. The game was promptly scratched off and The Sam FC were victorious before having kicked the ball.

The game proceeded nonetheless with the one member of Composite to turn up and other randoms who jooned The Sam FC fair and square. Chad scored and Tony should have scored.

In the end, the result didnt matter, The Sam FC were the real winners of the night
